We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of Sensei Sally and her daughter Isabelle, who both completed the Essar Chester Half Marathon on the 19th of May!
It was Isabelle’s first time tackling this distance, and she absolutely smashed it!
Sensei Sally also showed immense determination and resilience by completing the race despite having a twisted ankle and forgetting her running belt and smartwatch. Talk about a warrior spirit!
Their efforts are not just about crossing the finish line; they are raising money for the Black Scorpion Karate Squad. Karate is a self-funded sport, and financial challenges can often hold back our young athletes from chasing their dreams. The funds raised will help cover essential expenses for the squad as they prepare for the European Championships in Warsaw this October.
And that’s not all! To further support this cause, Sally is gearing up to run the Lancaster Celebration of Running Marathon on June 16th. Let’s cheer her on and support this fantastic journey!
Please consider making a donation to help these talented athletes. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a huge difference.
