Proud Moments for Black Scorpion Karate CIC at the 2025 WUKF European Championships

From 22nd–26th October 2025, four Black Scorpion Karate CIC athletes travelled to Riga, Latvia. They went there to compete at the prestigious WUKF European Championships. They represented our club as part of the EKA (English Karate Academy) squad. They joined an inspiring team of athletes from across the country.

We are incredibly proud of every member of our team. They stepped onto the tatami and showed courage. They also showed focus and determination. Each one represented BSK and EKA with such spirit.

Huge congratulations to:

🥈🥈 + 🥉 Lucy — Two Silvers & One Bronze
An outstanding performance across multiple categories, demonstrating confidence and technical strength at every stage.

🥉 Holly — Bronze
A fantastic achievement — well done Holly!

💪 Darcey — Strong Effort
Though she didn’t place this time, Darcey gave it her all and showed fantastic determination. Experiences like these are invaluable for growth, and we are so proud of her performance.

🥉 Isabelle — Bronze
A brilliant result, showcasing great teamwork and composure — congratulations, Isabelle!

🖤 Proud to Stand with EKA

A huge thank you and congratulations to the rest of the EKA squad, who showed fantastic spirit throughout the championships.
We’re grateful for their support, teamwork, and encouragement. It’s an honour to work together on the international stage.

🌍 Supporting Our Families

We are committed to accessibility in sport. We were delighted to support each family with a financial contribution toward their competition fees. This was made possible thanks to our ongoing community fundraising efforts.

A huge thank you to everyone who donates or supports our fundraising efforts. Your contributions support events and help us continue opening doors for young athletes. They get to experience opportunities like this because of you.
Your support truly makes a difference. 🖤

🦂 A Team to Be Proud Of

Each of these young athletes did themselves proud. They either returned home with medals or gained competition experience.

Congratulations again to all the athletes. We also congratulate the extended EKA squad. We can’t wait to see where everyone’s hard work and passion leads next!
